Victory Liner First Class Deluxe Bus to Baguio City

Travelling to Baguio City is a long hour drive, thus arranging for a comfortable and safe transportation is very important in planning your trip to the City of Pines.

Victory Liner is one of the most trusted bus companies in the Philippines. Their buses can take travelers to many provinces in the Philippines, including Baguio. You can choose between a Regular Bus and a First Class Deluxe Bus. We chose the later one for a faster and more comfy trip. In addition, there are two terminals for their trip to Baguio.

Pasay Terminal (our choice during our trip)

          Address: 651 EDSA Pasay City

  Cubao Terminal

Address: 683 EDSA, Cubao, Quezon City

When I planned our trip to Baguio last year, I searched online on what bus to book for our Manila to Baguio route. Good thing I have read good reviews about this bus company, so I checked their website and found a reservation form.

Hello Baguio (a "dream come true" vacation)

Visiting Baguio City has always been my dream since I was a little child. I have read a lot of beautiful stories about this lovely place and I was really excited to experience its cold weather, mingle with hospitable locals, see their colorful culture, and have a taste of their delicious foods.

After so many years of waiting, I am just so blessed to finally visit the City of Pines and the Summer Capital of the Philippines last January 2014, with my Lachuacherang mother. It was not an easy trip because I had no idea on how to arrange the itinerary at the beginning. But thanks to all the blogs I've read that guided me during the planning stage of this trip. In the end, me and my mom really enjoyed our adventure in Baguio City.

Queen City of the South--- CEBU CITY

“Be more you than you have ever been before.”

Ever since I was a child, I kept on making New Year's Resolution every time a year started, but it always got me disappointed when I checked my list by the end of the year, that only a few were done. So I changed my outlook in life, that instead of listing resolutions, I just think of the things that I want to achieve that year to be happy. So with that word in mind, "HAPPINESS", everything follows--how to be happy,  what will make me happy, where will i be happy, and who will make me happy.

For the year 2013, since I have already spoiled myself with great things for 23 years now, it's time to pass the crown of being a royalty, to my ever dearest mother. I have always been fond of travelling, so this year, I want to share my next travel experiences with her.

February of this year, before we conquered Bohol (click this link for our BOHOL ADVENTURE) last March for her 60th Birthday Celebration, we visited first the Queen City of the South, Cebu City for her DFA appearance and our yearly visit to Sto. Nino... This trip is another #FIRST for us, because this was our first flight together...

Legazpi-Sikatuna Sandugo Site, Bohol (the actual blood compact site)

In 2006, the government of Bohol discovered the actual spot of the Blood Compact of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Rajah Sikatuna in the town of Loay, Bohol. The marker is just a few minutes away from the monument. The area is just a small space with a painting of the “Sandugo” ritual and a marker with the history of the event, so this place isn’t visited as much compared to the monument.

According to Kuya Jojo, our driver/guide, many people here say the actual blood compact site is somewhere near the monument and the marker but can’t pinpoint the exact spot.

These were the only pictures I took with this landmark:

Chocohills ATV Rides

On our way to the Chocolate Hills in Carmen, we were so excited to see the place, when Kuya Jojo (our driver/guide) asked if we wanted to try first the ATV Rides just at the foot of the main hill. We immediately agreed since we wanted to experience the real adventure. And since we still have enough time for both the ATV (ATV stands for All Terrain Vehicle) ride and the viewing on top of the main hill, he brought as to G1 ATV Rental.

Baclayon Church, Bohol

The second oldest church in the Philippines stood beautifully in the wonderful island of Bohol. Baclayon Church, which was built during the Spaniards regime here in the Philippines, is 10 minutes away from the city of Tagbilaran. It was the second stop of our Countryside Tour availed from Kuya Tatsky and Ate Kathy.

Blood Compact Site/Monument Bohol

To start our Countryside tour, we went to the famous Blood Compact Site. The area has the statue of the leaders having the compact, so expect to have many tourists falling in line just to take a picture with the monument. Overlooking from the place, you can have a beautiful view of Panglao Beach from afar.
